Memorable Moments:
This section of the Photo Gallery shares some very memorable moments for fairgoers and exhibitors alike. Take a scroll down through the page. Pause a moment and reflect upon "The Fallen But Never Forgotten" victims of 9/11. Give Thanks to "All Those Who Serve" so that we may enjoy the freedoms that make our Country so great!

On Sunday, opening day of the Fair, the Extention Office and 4-H hold their annual "Operation Purple Fair" campaign. Children of service men and women from around the county gather together for a day of games, food and an opportunity to see what the "Fair Experience" is all about. Ray Lenz, President of the Board of Directors of the Cambria County Fair gets right into the thick of things. "So Who Is The Bigger Kid?"

Livestock campers have a great time during fair week. They get together to share Fair experiences and have fun. The 2009 Fair saw the first and we hope First Annual, Camper Queen Contest!
 | The Cambria County Fair is dedicated to keeping the Agricultural Fair experience alive for future generations to see and experience. Children across cities and towns look forward to the Fair so they may get up close and personal with the livestock. Exhibitors both young and old, have been showing livestock for generations. At left, Alice Foster is standing by a Historic Photo Display in the Youth Annex Building and to her surprise, she is the young lady in the picture. Taken in the late '50's or early '60's, Alice was a Dairy Cattle Livestock Exhibitor. Alice is now all grown up and is Superintendent of Open Class Dairy Cattle. |
"Sudsy Buddies"
The 2009 Cambria County Fair brought Best of Show Honors to Dawn Craft, daughter of Bob and Shelly Craft of Mineral Point. Dawn and her goat were entered in the Goat Costume Contest. "No Dirty Ole Goat Here!" | |
On September 11 Legion Members from Posts across the county joined with representatives of the Firefighters, EMS, and Police along with the 2009 Fair Queen and Princess and Charann Foster to remember the victims of the terrorist attack that was launched at our nation on September 11, 2001. We hold dear and honor the men and women that have sacrificed their lives and continue to fight for our freedom. "WE WILL NEVER FORGET"
