RULES & INFORMATION FOR BAKED, CANNED, DRIED PRODUCTS ENTRIES

EXHIBITOR AGES

4-H – As Per 4-H Age Guidelines

Pee Wee – Ages 2 – 4 Years

Youth – Ages 5 – 17 Years

Open Class – Ages – 8 and Over

RULES

All Exhibits must be made by exhibitor from scratch. Awards will not be paid for commercial products.

Exhibitors may not enter more than 1 exhibit in a division of a class, unless otherwise stated.

4-H Exhibitors must be 4-H members, with a project in the field in which they wish to make entry.

All entries should be labeled, plated, and plastic covered, however exhibitors name should not be on exhibit.

Entries will be taste tested and Judges will score on:
·         Eye Appeal
·         Size & Shape
·         Color& Sensory Qualities
·         Flavor & Moistness
·         Grain and Texture

Baked products will be sold in the Ag Building Annex, on Sunday Morning Opening Day of the fair       beginning at 9:00 am.

There will be refrigeration for those exhibits that require it. Please bring this to the attention of the       building staff and they will assist you.

All Entries will be cut into and put on display as required by the Department of Agriculture.
