DEPARTMENT 22– MAJOR CONTESTS
EXHIBITOR AGES
4-H – As Per 4-H Age Guidelines
Pee Wee – Ages 2 – 4 Years
Youth – Ages 5 – 17 Years
Open Class – Ages – 8 and Over
Each individual contest is governed by its own specific set of rules as well as with its own set of Premiums and/or Ribbons.
Judges will judge each exhibit according to the rules set forth for that particular exhibit without bias.
Please read the rules carefully to prevent disqualification.
Baked Goods must be brought into the Agriculture building in such a container that is appropriate for the safety of the entry, and will remain in the container until the judging of that particular contest.
Containers will not be returned.
Refrigeration will be available for any entry that requires it, please bring this to the attention of the building staff and they will assist you.

Any type of broom may be used (commercial or home-made). Contestants will dress the Broom according to the theme. The broom must be free standing and be no taller than 6’ and no wider than 3’.

The Design for the 2013 Quilt Block is:
Variations Of a Star Patten
Each Block must be 12 ½” X 12 ½’ including the seam allowance. It must be 100% cotton, prewashed and treated to prevent bleeding, with no buttons, charms, or paints. One entry per exhibitor. Additional blocks may be submitted but will not be judged. Each block will become the property of the Cambria County Fair’s Ag Building. Items will be constructed and sold at the 2014 Fair with proceeds benefiting the ongoing updating of the Agriculture Building.
